We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. Duties
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and overall condition
- Administer medications and assist with medication management following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized memory and behavioral care techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
- Document patient progress accurately in compliance with care plans and healthcare regulations
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, hospice, or group home environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic nursing skills
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism, or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate assistive devices safely
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide quality patient-centered care
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is advantageous
