We are seeking a Food Packaging Machine Operator to join our Pittston team. We aren't just looking for someone to push buttons; we are looking for a dedicated operator who will take full ownership of their station, maintain our high standards for food safety, and show up every day ready to contribute to a winning team.
THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will be the guardian of our production line, managing high-end equipment including Ishida Scales and Vertical Form Fill and Seal Baggers. This is a temporary-to-hire salaried position that rewards reliability and technical mastery.
What We Offer:
- Performance-Based Pay: Base salary plus incentive bonuses tied to the performance and output of the production team.
- Full Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, and a competitive benefits package upon permanent hire.
WHAT ACCOUNTABILITY LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
We provide the tools and the basic training, but you must provide the Work Ethic. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Ownership of Equipment: Setting up, operating, and breaking down complex machinery with precision. You don't just run the machine; you master it.
- Vigilance: Constantly monitoring for mechanical abnormalities and safety issues. You are the first line of defense in preventing downtime.
- Precision: Maintaining impeccable documentation and adhering strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Integrity: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation—not because you're told to, but because it's the professional standard.
