Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for mechanical and electrical systems? Join our team as an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in keeping our state-of-the-art food packaging facility running at peak performance.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our 2nd Shift maintenance team, you won’t just fix machines—you’ll master them. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed production equipment.
- Optimize Performance: Perform precision setups, calibrations, and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Be the Expert: Operate machinery to identify "running errors" and provide hands-on training to machine operators.
- Innovate: Use your fabrication skills to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience maintaining industrial processing equipment (or similar).
- Technical Intuition: A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to "see" how intricate systems should be functioning.
- Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude with a hunger to learn new systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and navigate a dynamic production floor (climbing, crawling, and bending).
- Resilience: Comfortable working in a cold-storage environment (38–40°F) to ensure food safety and quality.
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Flexibility: While this is a 2nd shift role, availability for weekends and holidays is required to keep our facility running 24/7.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
