In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to qualifications and experience, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

Primary Job Functions
Process Improvement and Technology
- Implement modern service operations skills, striking the right balance between standardization and flexibility.
- Innovate through deployment of tech tools, including AI, and constant monitoring of market best practices and fostering relationships with tool suppliers.
- Develop and oversee system for quality control and continuous improvement.
- Design standard documentation and tools to exceed client expectations on speed, quality, cost and user-friendliness.
- Develop systems to capture and analyze transactional data to improve efficiency and generate insights for client teams.
- Provide financial/quantitative analysis to enable efficient allocation of resources and value-based pricing strategies.
- Create learning modules and training programs for legal and non-legal professionals.
- Hire and lead non-lawyer professionals for due diligence and other process-heavy private equity work.
- Develop pricing strategies, marketing plans and related content.
- Collaborate with Choate’s Wealth Management, Intellectual Property, Finance & Restructuring and other practice groups to help scale practice management infrastructure and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA a plus.
- 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, private equity and/or M&A.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter and outside-the-box thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Tech savvy and data driven.
- Collaborative. Strong desire and ability to work effectively with lawyers and other professionals across the Choate platform and to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing or leading teams.
- Excellent communication, client service and training skills.
- Proficiency in using AI tools is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with workflow automation/process management tools is desirable.
- Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and workflow automation platforms a plus.
- Must exhibit decisive, hands‑on leadership to drive work forward and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
