Key Responsibilities
• Lead operational and third-party risk assessments across vendors, systems, and business processes
• Evaluate operational, financial, cybersecurity, and AI-related risks associated with third-party relationships
• Support vendor onboarding, due diligence, contract renewals, and ongoing risk monitoring activities
• Partner with finance, technology, legal, procurement, and compliance teams to ensure strong governance and oversight practices
• Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiencies, and process optimization
• Assist with the implementation of AI governance controls and operational risk frameworks related to emerging technologies and AI tools
• Monitor and maintain internal controls, reporting standards, and compliance procedures across operational functions
• Conduct operational and financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making
• Contribute to projects focused on digital transformation, workflow modernization, and operational scalability
• Stay informed on evolving industry regulations, cybersecurity developments, operational risks, and AI trends
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in risk management, finance operations, consulting, audit, procurement, compliance, or financial services
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with operational controls, vendor management, governance processes, or risk frameworks
• Exposure to financial services, investment management, private equity, consulting, or technology-driven environments preferred
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, operational analytics, or emerging technology risks is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, operational risk, third-party risk management, or compliance standards is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with the capability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business systems; experience with Power BI, SQL, or analytics tools is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
