We are partnering with a leading investment management firm seeking a Finance Associate to join a high-performing team supporting structured credit and fixed income investment platforms. This role offers broad exposure across CLOs, bank loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and other structured credit products. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, trading teams, investor relations, finance, operations, compliance, tax, legal, and external counterparties to support fund performance, reporting, compliance, and investment activity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support portfolio and fund-level compliance, reporting, and performance analysis for CLOs and other fixed income vehicles
• Monitor investment activity, portfolio cash flows, borrowing base availability, and financing arrangements
• Review trustee and lender reporting, distributions, financial statements, and investor communications
• Partner with trading teams to maintain accurate investment holdings data and support daily portfolio activity
• Analyze complex legal agreements, indentures, and credit documents to ensure ongoing compliance
• Assist with operational initiatives, process improvements, and reporting enhancements across the business
• Support ad hoc analyses, investor requests, and cross-functional projects
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, public accounting, audit, finance, or a related field
• Required: Experience with bank loans and/or collateralized loan obligations (CLOs)
• Exposure to fixed income products, structured credit, ABS, MBS, or syndicated loans is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and an interest in process improvement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
