Project Coordinator
Introduction:
The Project Coordinator serves as a crucial member of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, providing support to project managers and the PMO Director throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a highly organized and analytically minded individual who excels in business analysis, executive communication, and emerging technology.
Responsibilities:
- Support project managers and the PMO Director in various project-related tasks from idea intake to project closure
- Build and maintain tools, content, and processes to ensure the efficient operation of the PMO
- Leverage AI technologies to design prompts, build automations, and deploy agents for eliminating manual work
- Work in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment to elevate the quality of PMO outputs
- Prepare for a potential transition into a Project Manager role in the future
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in a PMO, business analysis, strategy, or operations role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project and Atlassian products
- Business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Good presentation and facilitation skills for project updates and stakeholder discussions
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstratable experience with AI technologies in a PMO or program coordination environment
- Interest in pursuing AI solutions for automation and efficiency
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams
