The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Lead of Consumer Insights to help us better understand our customers, uncover growth opportunities, and shape the future of our brand and products. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and storytelling — turning qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights that influence marketing, innovation, product development, retail strategy, and overall business decisions.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience leading consumer insights at a fast-growing consumer brand who thrives on making data mean something — and then making it matter to the teams who act on it.
What You’ll Do
Research & Insights
• Lead consumer insights initiatives across brand, product, retail, and marketing
• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies
• Analyze consumer behavior, trends, competitive landscapes, and category opportunities
• Identify emerging customer needs and whitespace opportunities for innovation
Strategy & Storytelling
• Translate data into clear, compelling recommendations and actionable business strategies
• Help shape innovation pipelines and go-to-market strategies through consumer-led thinking
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling way
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Develop and maintain brand tracking, customer segmentation, and consumer health metrics
• Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to track performance and customer sentiment
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, creative, e-commerce, and leadership teams
What We’re Looking For
Required
• 5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, strategy, analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical background with experience interpreting large datasets and consumer research
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Proficiency in tools such as Qualtrics, Tableau, Brandwatch, IRI/Nielsen, or similar platforms
• Ability to synthesize complex information into concise insights and clear recommendations
• Highly collaborative, curious, proactive, and strategic in your thinking
• Strong communication and presentation skills — you can make data compelling
Bonus Points
• Experience with shopper marketing or retail analytics
• Familiarity with MMM, brand tracking, or segmentation work
• Experience at a high-growth CPG, wellness, lifestyle, or DTC consumer brand
• Passion for health, wellness, recovery, or consumer products
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience thriving in fast-moving environments
