- Profile and manage simulation workload, ensuring smooth handover to future permanent hires for ongoing programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in battery, EV propulsion, or energy storage system simulation.
- Proficiency in simulation tools relevant to battery performance, durability, and charging (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent).
Role Description
The Propulsion System Simulation Engineer will develop and execute advanced simulation models for propulsion systems to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include designing, validating, and analyzing propulsion system models, leveraging simulation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. This is a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in simulation modeling, analysis, and system-level performance evaluation for propulsion systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or similar analytical platforms.
- In-depth understanding of propulsion systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control systems.
- Experience with data analysis, optimization methods, and numerical problem-solving techniques.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and presenting technical insights.
- Ability to manage projects and tasks efficiently in a hybrid work environment.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with high-fidelity simulation tools and programming knowledge in Python or C is advantageous.
