The Work
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will serve as an engineering consultant and technical expert on mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment. You will apply professional knowledge of scientific and engineering concepts, principles, phenomena and relationships to assess specific requirements, delineate appropriately engineered designs, and develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates and procurement packages in support of the operation, preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical. electrical, plumbing, utility and mission critical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Specify functional requirements, designs and test components.
- Analyze designs, integrate components and evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Design, analyze, configure, test and troubleshoot systems.
- Provide project engineering / program management support.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities.

- Contribute complex development and evaluation support and/or engineering/lifecycle support.
- Conduct surveys and investigations at project sites to secure necessary data prior to initiating design work.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- This is an entry-level role; it requires 0-2 years of experience.
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must have familiarity with Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management and Modeling.
- Familiarity with graphics / publishing software is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance due to our customer requirements and the nature of the work that we do.
- An Active Secret or higher Security Clearance.
- Relevant experience through employment, internships or education.
- Must be able to walk construction sites with uneven surfaces, carry up to 25 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors in severe weather conditions, in confined spaces, and in dust generating environments.
- Must be able to maintain spatial awareness and comply with safety standards while working near mechanical and electrical building equipment and systems.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
