China Airlines is seeking Accounting Agent at El Segundo branch office, who will be responsible for payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, with excellent communication skills.
- Process vendor invoices through company system.
- Record journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and deferrals.
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Ability to work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with other projects as needed
Qualification
- 2 - 3 years accounts payable with three-way match and general accounting experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management
- High ethical and professional
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Legal work authorization in the U.S. (China Airlines does not offer Sponsorship)
Bilingual is a plus (Mandarin Chinese preferred)

Pay: $22.07 - $27.56 per hour
