Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and a passion for fostering a safe, stimulating, and loving environment that supports the developmental needs of our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead teacher for the infant classroom, providing attentive care and guidance to infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets all licensing and regulatory standards.
• Observe and document each infant’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency and quality in curriculum and care.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as an infant lead teacher or in a similar role working with infants.
• Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to create a warm, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
