Farmington Valley Academy Montessori is seeking an experienced and thoughtful Upper Elementary Guide to join our teaching community and work closely with the school’s founder during a planned leadership classroom transition.

- Guide students through an Upper Elementary Montessori learning environment
- Teach and support advanced work in language, mathematics and culture
- Present lessons that encourage critical thinking and independent learning

This role is designed as a gradual transition alongside the current Upper Elementary teacher and founder of the school. The new guide will have the opportunity to learn the program structure and culture over time before assuming full leadership of the classroom.
Start date is flexible depending on the candidate, though the school anticipates a transition beginning before or during the 2026–2027 school year.
