Job Summary
We are seeking 3, 36 hour on-call, compassionate and dedicated Crisis Providers specializing in Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing immediate mental health support, crisis intervention, and comprehensive case management for young clients experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling, trauma-informed care, and working with children and families in various settings, including hospital, community, and home environments. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents by delivering evidence-based interventions within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Duties
- Initial phone response to callers in crisis, providing phone triage to determine level of response.
- If needed, meet the with the family at their location or at CRC
- Provide crisis intervention and management for children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral or emotional distress.
- Assist in de-escalating crisis, engaging clients in safety planning, determining appropriate level of care, and facilitating a plan for client care, contacting on-call supervisor for consultation as needed
- Accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Active Ohio License in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients’ families as well as multidisciplinary team members.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is preferred. This role is integral to providing high-quality mental health services for vulnerable youth populations while fostering a collaborative team environment dedicated to compassionate patient care.
