Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule. This role is essential in providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care to children and youth. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience with EMR/EHR systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary environment. We are recruiting for two part-time LPN to provide medical care for our residential clients during weekend hours, including in-office and on-call.
Key Functions include:
· Facilitate medical aspects of residential admissions including:
o Physical health screening
o Manage medications including:
* Obtain medication orders from prescriber (if applicable)
* Check in medications from parent/guardian and inspect/verify for authenticity
* Prepare medications for administration
o Provide parent/guardian and client education regarding medical services if needed
o Perform medication administrations for residential clients during shift
· Provide for the medical needs of residential clients
· Serve as a resource for staff
· Engage with clients, providing informal health and wellness education and guidance
· Provide medical care for residential clients during shift
· Conduct medical check of client following physical restraints including: immediate assessment of circulation, skin integrity, and vital signs
· Accurate and timely documentation
· Assist weekday nursing staff with unfinished tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
- Actively Licensed Practical Nurse through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required)
- Experience working with children and youth (required)
- Experience working in residential behavioral health setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of trauma-focused care model (preferred)

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
