Work schedule will be Full-time on the Evening Night Shift, 7p-7a, Monday-Sunday, 3-12 hour shifts per week.
Summary:
The staff nurse is a professional nurse who, with minimal supervision, is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. Patient care includes assessment, interventions, and reassessments of the patient. The nurse is also responsible for planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating care of patients/caregivers.

The Cardiac Care Unit is a 16 bed step-down telemetry unit that provides care for pediatric patients that require close monitoring for conditions such as: congenital or acquired heart disease; pre and/or post-operative care of patients with congenital or acquired heart disease; dysrhythmias; cardiomyopathy; pre and post-operative care of cardiac transplants; ventricular assist devices (VAD); and administration of continuous low dose vasoactive/inotropic infusions. - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Current BLS certification
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
