Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Specialty Care Services is responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate, family-centered nursing care in an outpatient specialty clinic setting. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or provider, the LPN supports efficient clinic operations, coordinates patient flow, and delivers direct and indirect patient care in accordance with Children’s of Alabama policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
Essential:
- Licensed Practical Nurse AL Only or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Licensed Practical Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Licensed Practical Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Essential:
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
Nonessential:
- 2 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing General
