Summary:
The PeriOp South Director of Nursing is a registered nurse with advanced education and training in the care of pediatric surgery patients. The individual is responsible for strategic, operational, financial, and human resource management of Perioperative Services at Children’s South to ensure safe, compassionate, cost-effective, direct and indirect, patient-family centered care in the pre/postoperative unit, operating room, post-anesthesia care unit, and by anesthesia services. The PeriOp South Director will be accountable for nurses, CRNAs, ORTs, PCTs and other perioperative staff members. The individual will work closely with the Surgical Services Division Director, Surgical Services Leadership Team, Children’s South PeriOp Medical Director, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. The PeriOp South Director reports directly to the Surgical Services Division Director, who in turn reports to the Vice President of Operations.

- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Masters of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing and 5 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Experience RN
