Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Patient Services Rep I provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing clerical tasks primarily associated with answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures, collection of patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical front office setting. Basic knowledge of computers, filing and organizational skills required. Ability to deal effectively with the public. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
