Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic project management team, playing a critical role in the activation and transition of our new Dallas pediatric campus. The successful candidate will partner closely with department leaders and subject matter experts to ensure a seamless move from planning through to go-live, overseeing detailed departmental schedules and coordinating interdependencies across the organization.

This role is ideally suited to a proactive professional with proven experience in healthcare facility transition and activation, especially within large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of the project management team, driving the transition and activation planning for the new pediatric campus.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify, define, and validate departmental operational and facility requirements.
  • Develop detailed departmental project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and integration with broader project timelines.
  • Identify and communicate cross-departmental dependencies and coordinate with other project managers to ensure alignment.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues before they impact timelines or budget.
  • Leverage prior experience with large-scale healthcare construction projects to anticipate challenges and surface proven solutions.
  • Escalate issues and roadblocks to project management leadership in a timely manner.
  • Support and implement change management strategies to facilitate staff readiness and organizational adoption.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Hands-on experience with the opening or expansion of major healthcare facilities.
  • Proven experience in healthcare facility transition and activation and / or expertise in change management.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of managing ambiguity and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence and coordinate across departments.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools).

Work Experience

  • At least 7 years job related experience Required
  • Experience as a Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or Project Coordinator Required

EDUCATION

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
