Summary
Responsible for proper cleaning of the food service areas, which includes general cleaning of kitchen pots, pans, dishes, equipment, floors, walls, and ceiling, and also retrieving dirty carts from patient units.
Responsibilities
- Operates dishmachine and related equipment.
- Cleans dishes, trays, serviceware, pots and pans using appropriate sanitizing process
- Organizes pots, pans, dishes, servicewares, and places in appropriate location.
- Breaksdown, cleans, and reassembles dish machine equipment.
- Pick up soiled trays and serviceware from patient units a needed.
- Assists in food preparation and line service as needed.
- Operate and routinely cleans / sanitizes kitchen equipment.
- Completes required documentation for quality improvement (including temperature documentation)
- Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year related experience Pref
- High school diploma or equivalent Pref
- Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter. Req
