Job Details Description $21.98 - $26.37 / hour Position Summary: The Critical Conferencing Scheduler worker will provide the Director of Conferencing Services administrative assistance support and specifically will coordinate with the Director and Children’s Aid workers, supervisors and other directors or senior directors to schedule monthly permanency family team conferences, to track and follow up on missed or failed conferences and support rescheduling of conferences as necessary. This scheduler will also provide support for the coordination and scheduling critical decision-making conferences facilitated by Children’s Aid or the ACS Office of Family Team Conferencing or Interdisciplinary Treatment Team Meetings as required by the Director. Scheduler will also provide reception support for FTC office. Essential Duties: Understand and promote the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Provide administrative support in Family Team Conferencing Unit of Foster Care and Adoption Agency. Work with the Director of Conferencing Services to schedule and manage rescheduling of Family Team Conferences for both planned Permanency Conference and for Critical Decision-Making Conferences. Receive calls, emails and faxes requesting scheduling or rescheduling of conferences. Generate monthly and weekly schedules and reminders for planned conferences. Coordinate with Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) Family Services Unit (FSU) Family Team Conferencing schedulers for Critical Decision-Making Conferences and 12 Month Permanency Conferences. Answer program phones and receive, screen and clear visitors at program office to keep with current safety and health protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required, B.A. or associate's degree preferred. Key Competencies: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Computer literacy with some experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Calendar a plus. Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Office skills for managing phone and supporting the needs of the unit.
