Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Center Director, Assistant Director, staff, and families. This role ensures efficient office operations, assists with family communication, and supports enrollment, billing, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet families, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and daily correspondence.
- Maintain organized records, files, and reports in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Assist with enrollment paperwork, attendance tracking, and tuition billing.
- Support data entry, purchasing, and supply inventory.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, fundraising events, and board materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree or coursework in business, education, or a related field preferred.
- Administrative or office support experience a plus.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time: 20–25 hours per week, Monday–Friday (schedule flexible within center hours).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
