Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full-time Assistant Program Manager in Yavapai County.
The Assistant Program Manager will oversee a continuum of services for families who are involved with the Department of Child Safety (DCS), and help families to build safe, nurturing environments for the successful reunification of their children. The Assistant Program Manager is an ideal position for an experienced helping professional that demonstrates an ability to relate and build positive connections with teammates across roles, plan and organize support services, and coordinate staff schedules and interactions with families. This position will also participate in an on-call rotation.
This position works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.

Assistant Program Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Managing day to day operations, overseeing referral assignments and compliance with referral timelines, documentation completion and compliance, general contract requirements and compliance for the DCS Services delivered.
- Partnering with stakeholders; responding to funding sources, creating relationships with partner agencies, etc.
- Measuring and tracking progress on program, agency and best practice deliverables and outcomes for children and families in line with DCS’ performance criteria.
- Communicating effectively with families, supervisors and parent aides, Child and Family Team members (stakeholders, therapists, case managers, etc), and agency management.
- Providing supervision, support and employee development to Supervisors, Case Aides, and Parent Aides and evaluating performance.
- Participating in recruiting, interviewing and hiring efforts.
- Modeling company values and other duties related to the provision, coordination and oversight of the DCS teams.
- Must be comfortable working in a strength-based and family-centered way.
- Flexibility in scheduling, willingness to drive to travel throughout Maricopa County, and willingness to work within the homes/communities of the families we serve.
- Assisting with caseload coverage as needed.
- Performing other duties related to the position

Education/Experience Needed:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with at least one (1) year of work experience in a related field preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Arizona Driver's LicenSe with an acceptable 39 month driving record
- Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration
- Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
- Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect
- Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
