Responsible for recruiting and connecting incumbent early childhood care and education workforce members with appropriate Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs at 2- and 4-year institutions to obtain additional degrees, licenses, and credentials, and to connect them with ECE Scholarship Opportunities.

- Provide support to the incumbent workforce by assessing their needs, sharing information, and connecting them to higher education opportunities through phone calls, email, in-person meetings, nd virtual meetings.
- Facilitate general informational/educational sessions on higher education and the scholarship/financial aid process to the ECE workforce at least twice a month, either in-person or virtually.
- Market general information/educational sessions on higher education and the scholarship/financial aid process to the ECE workforce through strategies such as creating, but not limited to, flyers, brochures, and informational sessions at a minimum of six (6) per month. Marketing platforms will include, but not be limited to, Constant Contact mass email, social media posts (Facebook and LinkedIn), and community platforms.
- Work collaboratively with CORE team members to recruit participants, market educational opportunities, and connect with early childhood programs and community organizations.
- Facilitate and engage in community outreach by partnering with local agencies, early childhood programs, collaborations, and community organizations to recruit and assist individual participants, participating in at least three (3) events or meetings monthly.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of ECE programs offered by 2- and 4-year institutions within SDA 5 to the ECE workforce.
- Attempt contact (email, phone, mail, in-person, etc.) with all providers, regardless of education level, listed on the DTP database within SDA 5 each fiscal year to market ECE scholarship opportunities and early childhood education programs, reaching out to at least 50 per week.
- Daily download all surveys of interest received by INCCRRA through DTP and provide follow-up to all inquiries within 24 business hours.
- Work with individuals to identify programs that meet their needs and provide technical assistance on completing the FAFSA, accessing state scholarships, and applying to relevant institutions and programs. Assist at least five (5) individuals per week.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance and support to all participants enrolled in educational programs, contacting them at least once a month.
- Build key relationships with staff at ECE programs at 2- and 4-year institutions within SDA 5, communicating via phone, email, and in-person/virtual meetings. Facilitate a meeting with each institution at least once a month. Key staff include, but are not limited to, individuals within ECE programs, admissions, financial aid, work-study, and guidance counselors.
- Partner with IHE Navigators in bordering SDAs to facilitate partnerships with 2- and 4-year institutions outside of SDA 5 based on individual participant needs.
- Collect information on barriers to higher education experienced by incumbent ECE workforce members and provide reports within the Data Tracking Program (DTP) quarterly or more frequently as requested.
- Maintains required job skills and creates professional competencies. Attends and participates in staff development programs and staff meetings, including assistance with community development and advocacy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to high ethical standards and integrity.
- Retain knowledge of the Data Tracking Program (DTP) and enter data daily.
- Work collaboratively with all departments and consultants to ensure quality services are provided to our clients and the organization.
- Submit weekly productivity data to the Training Coordinator (e.g., calls, visits, entries, etc.)
- Maintains required core professional competencies by attending and participating in required professional development; minimum of 15 hours annually.
- Must be Gateways to Opportunity Registry (within five days of employment)
