General Description
Responsible for the coordination and assistance in the planning and implementation of the Preschool for ALL (PFA) program funded by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). This position supervises staff and is responsible for screenings and other family educational specific activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, direction, and performance evaluations for the Preschool for ALL (PFA) staff members.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate written Parent Involvement Plans.
- Develop, design, and lead parent activities.
- Develop Kindergarten Transition Plans using current and available Readiness Inventories.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other agencies through partnering and collaboration of similar programs to ensure that families have the best available assistance possible.
- Maintain the ISBE database, including all required information for each family
- Ensure that staff members are cross-trained in the maintenance and functionality of the IL CCR&R and ISBE databases.
- Actively participate in the sourcing and selection of additional staff as required.
- Provide input into the planning and maintenance of the PFA program, parent library, newsletter, and other written material for parents and families
- Attend and participate in CCR&R and ISBE services, training, and other agency or other job-related conferences.
- Stay abreast of “Best Practices” in teaching instruction for 3-5 year olds and changes to ISBE and DCFS Illinois Standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Maintains strong professional relationships with all CCR&R departments.
