A growing managed services and technology company in Overland Park is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. This is not your average analyst role. What you will be doing:
- Building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, budgets, and KPI dashboards for a multi-entity organization
- Administering variable compensation plans and commissions calculations — ensuring accuracy and driving process improvements
- Developing and maintaining standard costing systems, pricing models, and financial forecasting tools
- Partnering with accounting, operations, and senior leadership to identify trends, analyze opportunities, and implement solutions
- Driving automation and technology improvements across the finance function from concept to completion
- Presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and department heads
- Ad hoc analysis, special projects, and ongoing reporting support
What they are looking for:
- 4-7 years of progressive financial or business analyst experience
- Advanced Excel skills — ability to build complex models from scratch
- Experience with an FP&A tool such as Datarails or similar platform is a significant plus
- Coding or database experience is a bonus
- Variable comp and commissions calculation experience preferred
- Strong systems orientation — they want someone who thinks about how to use technology to make the business more efficient and profitable
- Industry background does not matter — the right intangibles and skill set are what they are after
