We're partnering with a growing transportation and logistics company in the Kansas City area to identify a Transportation Compliance & Safety Manager who will lead safety, regulatory compliance, and owner-operator onboarding efforts across the organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead transportation safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance programs
- Manage Driver Qualification Files (DQFs), Hours of Service (HOS), CSA scores, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee Owner Operator recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and qualification
- Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Prepare for DOT audits and maintain compliance documentation
- Partner with dispatch and operations to ensure safe, compliant day-to-day operations
- Develop and improve SOPs, onboarding processes, and safety initiatives
Requirements
- 3 years of transportation safety, compliance, or fleet management experience
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, HOS, DQFs, and CSA compliance
- Experience onboarding and qualifying Owner Operators
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in trucking, logistics, brokerage, or asset-based transportation operations
- Familiarity with transportation systems such as PCS, Geotab, RMIS, Highway, or similar platforms is a plus
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
