The Front of House Lead at Chick-fil-A Batesville plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional restaurant operations and guest experience. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading team members, maintaining Chick-fil-A brand standards, and developing a high-performing team culture.
The Front of House Lead works closely with the leadership team to drive operational excellence, support team development, and ensure our restaurants operate efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, speed, and accuracy in service.
- Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders.
- Provide ongoing feedback, mentorship, and performance development.
- Help cultivate a positive, service-focused culture within the restaurant.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives remarkable service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Promote a culture of hospitality that reflects Chick-fil-A values.
Operational Systems & Performance
- Assist in managing labor, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper product management.
- Support implementation of operational systems and process improvements.
Leadership Support
- Collaborate with the Operator and senior leadership team to execute business strategies.
- Support special projects, initiatives, and store-wide goals.
- Serve as a role model for the Chick-fil-A mission and values.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and restaurant environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience working at Chick-fil-A (preferred, not required)
- Proven experience leading and managing in a kitchen or food service environment as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor or team lead (preferred)
- Strong understanding of BOH operations, including food cost tracking, waste management and kitchen systems
- Servant-heart leader with passion for developing others
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
