Job Summary:
Chick-fil-A Batesville is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back of House Lead to join our leadership team. This role is essential in ensuring ensuring excellence in food safety, kitchen systems and operational efficiency. The BOH Lead will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and driving consistent execution of BOH procedures.

BOH Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team to ensure operational excellence and uphold the brand and values of Chick-fil-A
- Manage kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, packaging and sanitation standards
- Monitor, track and communicate food cost and waste; identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Build and maintain kitchen systems that enhance workflow, consistency and team performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines, health standards and company policies
- Partner with leadership team to execute training programs for BOH team members
- Collaborate on scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels during peak and non-peak hours
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Set the tone for a positive and efficient kitchen environment through servant leadership
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience working at Chick-fil-A (preferred, not required)
- Proven experience leading and managing in a kitchen or food service environment as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor or team lead (preferred)
- Strong understanding of BOH operations, including food cost tracking, waste management and kitchen systems
- Servant-heart leader with passion for developing others
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
