Position Overview
The HR Director oversees the full team member lifecycle, ensuring that hiring, training, scheduling, and engagement are executed with excellence. This role partners closely with leadership to maintain a positive, organized, and people-focused workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Hiring & Onboarding
- Maintain job postings and develop new creative ways to attract top applicants
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring decisions
- Prepare and extend job offers
- Complete and manage onboarding paperwork and compliance
- Order and manage team member uniforms
- Hold new team member orientations
Training & Development
- Oversee the entire training plan for all staff
- Ensure training curriculum is up to date
- Build and develop team of trainers to carry out the day-to-day training
- Track training progress and partner with leaders to develop team members
- Develop a robust understanding of the Chick-fil-A standards and help to make them a reality among all team members
Scheduling & Operations Support
- Create and manage the weekly schedule for all staff (including training schedule)
- Ensure schedules align with staffing needs, labor goals, and availability
Team Engagement & Culture
- Lead team appreciation initiatives
- Plan and execute team events and celebrations
- Coordinate community events and team involvement
