Jon started his Chick-fil-A journey at the age of 16 as a team member. He wanted to get a job to help his family financially, so on his 16th birthday he went to Chick-fil-A and applied for a team member position. He worked for Chick-fil-A all during high school and when he graduated he worked full time to pay for college. When he graduated college he felt that Chick-fil-A would fulfill his purpose of being an entrepreneur and being able to impact people's lives with a positive influence and give back to his community.

Responsibilities:

The Catering Specialist will work within the Catering team and report directly to the Catering Director. The Catering Specialist is expected to maintain a high level of organization, coordination, and attention to detail. They will communicate openly with the Catering Director and work collaboratively within the team. This is an operational position, requiring a focus on delivering exceptional catering services while ensuring a positive experience for the guests and team. The Catering Specialist will assist in managing catering orders, including delivery orders, and closely collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations. The mission of the Catering Specialist is to partner with the Catering Director in delivering outstanding service and creating a seamless catering experience, ensuring the guests feel valued and cared for throughout every interaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring catering orders are taken and entered correctly into the system.
• Organizing and packaging all catering orders with precise accuracy.
• Delivering catering orders when needed.
• Making changes/edits to orders efficiently.
• Ensuring catering orders are tendered prior to assembling.
• Evaluating our guest experience and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Addressing any guest catering-related concerns that may arise.
• Ensuring the catering area is clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid California driver license
• Must have 2 years of recorded driving experience
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• High school diploma/GED
• Team-oriented

REQUIREMENTS

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
