The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will serve as a key point of support in the background check and suitability process for ORR programs. You ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements by coordinating, documenting, and monitoring background check investigations from start to finish.
You will review documentation for accuracy and completeness, resolve discrepancies, and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all files are audit-ready. You will track deadlines closely to make sure all submissions and processes are completed within required timeframes.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of employment experience, preferably in compliance, human resources, or administrative coordination.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel; experience with Smartsheets preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Must successfully complete ORR required background and pre-employment medical clearances
