We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring SharePoint systems, supporting users, and ensuring the platform’s performance, security, and reliability.
Job Description
- Install, configure, and upgrade SharePoint systems and services.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Design and implement SharePoint infrastructure and site collections.
- Develop and maintain content databases and document libraries.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy custom solutions and integrations.
- Maintain documentation for policies, procedures, and user guides.
- Plan and execute backup and disaster recovery operations.
- Create forms utilizing Microsoft Forms
- Google Drive to One Drive Migration
- File server shares to SharePoint Migration
- Create workflows using Power BI

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24months) from the following categories:
A. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
3. Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019).
- Familiarity with Windows Server, SQL Server, PowerShell, and Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the systems and operations used within the areas and departments of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate activities of assigned staff.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other colleagues, supervisors, administrative staff, and other campus/agency units.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical and personnel problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate and professionally interact with all staff levels.
