As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for residents, focusing on improving their daily functioning and quality of life.
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to help residents achieve their goals.
- Evaluate residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize their independence.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on the use of assistive devices and techniques.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to care.
- Document residents’ progress and maintain accurate records.
- CPR Certification
- Driver’s License
- Auto Insurance
- Physical Exam (within 6 months from hire)
- TB Clearance (within 6 months from hire)
Must Have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in state.
- Strong understanding of therapy techniques, healthcare reimbursement, and documentation requirements.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with residents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and therapy documentation.
