About the ACT Program
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team provides comprehensive, full-support mental health services for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, such as Schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. ACT goes beyond traditional outpatient care by offering intensive treatment, rehabilitation, and support services in the community.

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse on our ACT team, you’ll play a vital role in improving lives by delivering psychiatric-mental health nursing care and serving as a patient advocate. Your responsibilities will include:
- Medication management and education
- Client assessment and evaluation
- Collaboration with therapists, psychiatrists, and community agencies
- Documentation that meets regulatory standards
- Supporting clients in maintaining treatment and medication regimens
Schedule
- Full-Time Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-Call: May be required after hours for client care

Qualifications:Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor)
- Valid PA Registered Nurse License
- Preferred: 1 year of mental health nursing experience
- Other Requirements:
- PA State Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
