Position: Full-Time Group Therapist (Mental Health Therapist)
Location: New Directions K-12 Private Academic School & Child Partial Hospitalization Program, 125 Chaffee Street Uniontown, PA 15401

(CRCSI) is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide group therapy and behavioral interventions at our New Directions program.
If you have a background as a Mental Health Therapist, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), we encourage you to apply!
What You’ll Do
- Lead Engaging Group Therapy: Deliver impactful sessions that promote emotional growth and resilience.
- Behavior Management: Implement individualized strategies to help children regulate emotions and behaviors in the classroom.
- Symptom Reduction: Work toward alleviating mental health symptoms to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community.
- Collaborative Care: Partner with educators, families, and treatment teams to support each child’s success.
Program Goals
- Therapeutic Environment: Provide mental health treatment alongside academic support.
- Preventive Care: Reduce the need for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or residential treatment.
- Step-Down Services: Help children transition smoothly from higher levels of care.
- Educational Support: Operate a PA Department of Education Licensed Private Academic School serving K-12 students.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in the human service field.
Experience: One year mental health experience preferred
Other Requirements: PA State Criminal, Child Abuse Certification, and FBI Clearances
