Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities as required.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Previous experience in daycare settings or babysitting roles is highly valued.
- Ability to create engaging activities that foster learning in preschool-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
