- Schedule all construction ac tivitie s in BuildPro for a ll assigned homes a n d adjust and maintain schedule as n ee ded
- Supe rvi se and inspect al l work and confirm that it meet s city and enginee ring requirements as well as C h esmar Home s standards
- Confirm that all se l ections and change orders are in s talled per approved paperwork
- Ensur e a ll homes are completed in a timely mann e r , a nd control variance
- Ensure t hat trade partners are paid accurate l y and in a timely manner. Create and approve EPO's as needed for items not budgeted
- Recruit , tr ain, and r eta in qu a lity labor s ubcont racto rs , wh il e ne go tiatin g the b es t price po ss ibl e for qua l ity work
- Maintain OSHA Safety Manual for the community and in s pect jobs week ly for compliance
- Conduct scheduled meeting s with homebuyers (Pre-con s truction, Pre-drywall, Pre-set t lement, Final sign -off, Post-C l osing Homeowner Meetings), and se t proper expectations for build pro cess, timing, quality contro l , communicat ion, and warranty
- Conduct week l y commun ity team meetings wi th NHC, contact a ll cu stome r s week l y during the meet in g
Experience
- Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building codes, understanding of critical path scheduling methods and safety
- Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced high work volume
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
- Capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work
- College degree preferred in related field
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in a construction related field
- Experience with the home building process and practices
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage
