Required Qualifications
- Experience in security management, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supervising security operations in a large-scale commercial, mixed-use, or entertainment-oriented property.
- A verifiable track record of building, training, and growing security teams with strong service standards.
- Comfort and availability working evenings, weekends, and during special events on a regular basis — this role is not a standard 9-to-5.
- Strong knowledge of security technology, systems, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a thorough background check
Operations & Event Support
- Design and implement security protocols and emergency response procedures suited to a mixed-use property with regular evening programming and special events.
- Serve as the on-site security lead for events, activations, and high-profile evenings — with regular availability during nights and weekends to support the property’s entertainment calendar.
- Coordinate closely with property management and event organizers to plan and staff security coverage that is proactive, visible, and guest-friendly.
- Manage all security systems including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and communication equipment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement corrective measures.
- Investigate and document incidents thoroughly, producing clear reports and follow-up action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary security point of contact for commercial tenants, retailers, and residential occupants, someone they trust and enjoy working with.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all property stakeholders through consistent communication, regular meetings, and a responsive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Foster a security presence that feels welcoming and professional rather than reactive, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the complex.
