Chesley Brown International is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Director of Security position at a Class A property, in Alpharetta, Ga. The Assistant Director of Security (ADOS) reports to a Chesley Brown International Senior Director of Security and provides administrative and operational support in overseeing all security functions and personnel at the client location. The ADOS is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property on a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week basis, maintaining compliance with established security and emergency procedures, and assisting with budget management. At the direction of the Senior Director of Security, the ADOS makes decisions related to daily operations, staffing, and the overall effectiveness of the security program.
- A four-year degree from an accredited university, or college or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential elements of the position.
- Previous security in a supervisory capacity or law enforcement experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- No criminal record and can pass a background check and drug screening.
- MUST be comfortable with excel and other programs of Microsoft office.
- Previous experience of managing a large security operation is highly desired.
Assists the DOS in managing security operations to maintain security standards; creates a safe and secure environment for merchants to conduct business and customers to shop; and to support security requirements of the location.
Assists the DOS in staffing, directing, and developing security personnel to ensure security standards are maintained and that security operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Assists the DOS in developing, recommending and implementing innovative security programs that will enhance security operations and contribute to overall client location safety and security.
Make decisions within established policy and practices. Decides when to seek approval/advice from the DOS for exceptions, new situations, and/or security operational problems.
Has the knowledge to perform security operations and provide the security staff with specific plans, policies and procedures to achieve objectives.
Has a general knowledge of state law and local ordinances that affect the operations at the client property
