What are the responsibilities and job description for the LNA Health Unit Coordinator position at Cheshire Medical Center?
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse assist in various aspects of patient care that are within the prescribed skills and required qualifications of this position. Demonstrate knowledge and application of age-specific behavior and human growth and development from age 16 through the adult life span. Perform some clerical functions of the nursing units which support delivery of patient care in accordance with Cheshire Medical Center's policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an approved LNA program. Training in 12-lead EKG and use of glucose meters preferred. Minimum of one year's experience in one of the job skills incorporated in this position preferred. Computer experience preferred. New Hampshire LNA license.
