CSP is partnering with a privately held real estate lender originating fix-and-flip, bridge, DSCR, and small-balance commercial loans across the East Coast. The firm is opening a Raleigh office and hiring a Production Assistant to support one of its top loan originators directly.
This is not a team support role. This individual will own the day-to-day operational pipeline for a single high-volume producer. They will keep deals moving, communication tight, and the originator focused on closing business.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and track an active loan pipeline from submission through closing, flagging delays and keeping all parties on schedule
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, brokers, and third parties on file status, outstanding conditions, and next steps
• Coordinate loan submissions, ensuring files are complete, organized, and ready for underwriting review
• Prepare and distribute status updates to borrowers and referral partners on a consistent basis
• Maintain organized deal files across all stages of the loan lifecycle
• Follow up on outstanding documentation, appraisals, title, insurance, and any open conditions
• Support the originator with scheduling, client outreach, and other production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate lending, mortgage operations, loan processing, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of loan lifecycle processes, including submission, underwriting, and closing
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication skills with both internal teams and external partners
• High attention to detail and ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Proficiency with CRM systems, loan origination software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to prioritize effectively and operate with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
