Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing wealth and retirement advisory firm to identify a Relationship Manager. This client-facing role offers the opportunity to support and manage institutional retirement plan clients while delivering high-touch service, strategic guidance, and operational excellence. The Relationship Manager will serve as a key liaison across client relationships, working closely with advisors and internal teams to drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for institutional retirement plan clients, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Partner with Retirement Plan Consulting Advisors to develop and implement investment and plan strategies aligned with client objectives and fiduciary best practices.
• Lead and participate in client meetings, including ongoing relationship management and prospective client discussions.
• Coordinate across internal teams, including marketing, compliance, and recordkeeping partners, to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Manage follow-up actions and ensure timely, accurate execution of client deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series 65 or CFP® designation required.
• 2 years of experience in financial services, financial planning, or retirement plan advisory.
• Strong knowledge of retirement planning concepts, fiduciary practices, and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Salesforce, RPAG, Morningstar, or similar platforms preferred.
Salary : $72,000 - $95,000
