Division Manager – Building Automation & Controls

Overview
Chesapeake Search Partners has a client who is seeking a Division Manager to lead and grow their Building Automation & Controls division. This role is responsible for driving business development, managing operations, and delivering high-quality BAS and indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions
Key Responsibilities
Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Drive revenue growth in BAS, controls upgrades, and IAQ solutions
- Develop new client relationships across commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets
- Lead sales efforts and proposals, including VisionAIR Performance
- Build and maintain a strong project and service pipeline
Operations & Leadership
- Manage field technicians and installation teams
- Oversee project execution, scheduling, and commissioning
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Manage service contracts and support team development
Product Integration
- Support deployment of VisionAIR systems with internal teams
- Assist with BAS integration, sensors, and analytics platforms
- Provide field feedback to improve solutions and expand market use
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or controls
- Proven success in technical sales or business development
- Strong expertise with Honeywell / Tridium Niagara (Niagara 4, JACE)
- Experience managing technical teams
- Solid HVAC and building systems knowledge
- Strong communication and project management skills
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
