CSP has partnered with a well‑established, thriving nonprofit organization to identify a Director of Talent Experience who will serve as a trusted, empathetic leader across all employee relations and people operations.
About the Role
This role leads employee relations, engagement, total rewards, compensation, and HR compliance, with a strong emphasis on building trust, supporting employee well‑being, and navigating sensitive matters with care and sound judgment. As a member of the Expanded Executive Leadership Team, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership while championing a fair, inclusive, and high‑performing culture.
This position also serves as the organization’s compliance lead for EEO, ADA, Ethics, and Title IX and is designated essential during times of emergency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all employee relations efforts, handling complex and sensitive issues with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
- Partner with executives and people managers to strengthen communication, engagement, and performance management
- Design and execute employee retention and engagement strategies with measurable impact
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development
- Lead People & Culture initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Oversee HR operations including total rewards, compensation, HR compliance, policies, HRIS, and reporting
- Manage and develop People & Culture team members; serve in place of the VP of People & Culture as needed
What You Bring
- 5 years of senior HR leadership experience with deep expertise in employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; advanced degree or HR certification a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high‑stakes or sensitive situations
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy while providing candid, constructive guidance
- Proven experience building and leading high‑performing HR teams
- Strong judgment, discretion, and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS systems
