In this important leadership role, this individual will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to shape and execute the Bank’s long-term financial strategy
- Provide insight into growth initiatives, lending strategies, deposit expansion, and community investment opportunities
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic analysis to the Board
- Serve as primary financial liaison to regulators and external auditors
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Drive operational efficiency and expense management initiatives
- Develop and mentor internal teams
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and community stewardship
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred; MBA a plus)
- 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience within a bank or financial institution
- Deep knowledge of banking regulations, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with Board members and regulators
