CSP has partnered with a well-established and growing independent wealth management firm in the Baltimore area seeking a Portfolio Manager to join its investment team. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership on portfolio management, investment research, client presentations, business development initiatives, and client service. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with wealth advisors to evaluate and manage client investment portfolios, including portfolio implementation, rebalancing, reinvestment of proceeds, tax-loss harvesting, cash management, and trade execution.
- Prepare investment analyses and develop high-quality client presentations and reporting materials.
- Utilize advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills to support investment recommendations and client communications.
- Assist advisors with business development efforts and prospective client opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of public markets, alternative investments, and financial planning concepts.
- Support the delivery of customized investment solutions tailored to each client's financial objectives.
Qualifications
- Work on-site 5 days/week in Baltimore office.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Four or more years of relevant experience in portfolio management, investment management, wealth management, investment banking, institutional investments, or a related financial services environment.
- CFP designation preferred; CFA, CPA/PFS, or Series 65/66 also considered.
- Experience working with registered investment advisors (RIA) or wealth management firms is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Experience with custodial platforms is a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $155,000
