Summary Of Responsibilities
The Director, FLEX Business Segment is responsible for the P&L, sales and setting the strategic direction, driving commercial execution, and leading cross‑functional alignment for the FLEX brand. This role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to deliver revenue growth, brand health, and operational excellence. The Director will foster a customer‑centric, continuous improvement mindset while building a high‑engagement team culture that supports long‑term brand growth and execution excellence. This is a growth opportunity where the leader demonstrates multi-faceted engagement, actively participating in all the various functions involved. This role focuses on brand strategy, portfolio leadership, commercialization, and cross‑functional influence across Marketing Product, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance and the Global team.

Key Job Responsibilities – FLEX Business Segment
- Lead development and execution of the FLEX Business Segment brand strategy aligned with enterprise objectives of margin and owning the P&L for North America.
- Drive revenue and margin growth through deep engagement in traditional trade channels for Pro‑focused products, partnering closely with Sales and Finance to translate proven selling experience into executable, breakthrough channel strategies
- Identify and advance growth opportunities through portfolio optimization, channel expansion, and commercialization excellence.
- Provide leadership across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams supporting the FLEX brand.
- Drive retail and e‑commerce channel performance through joint business planning with key partners.
- Guide product roadmap planning, launch execution, and integration of consumer and customer insights.
- Establish operating rhythms, performance reviews, and KPI tracking to support execution and accountability.
- Partner with executive leadership to align FLEX priorities with broader North America and global strategies.
- Build and sustain a high‑performance, team‑based culture consistent with Chervon North America values, emphasizing engagement, retention, and talent development.
- Regularly communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Demonstrate a willingness to engage with all functions and apply hands-on experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5 - 8 years of progressive leadership in home improvement or related industries.
- Proven track record in profit and loss management exposure /Impact and leading businesses across multiple channels.
- Sales background with a proven track record of strong selling performance, ideally gained through frontline sales, key account management, or close partnership with sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate channel strategy into executable marketing programs that drive sell in, sell through, and market share growth.
- Experience working with major retailers and e-commerce platforms. Extensive channel experience managing major clients and key accounts within the industrial sector.
- Experience building relationships to gain trust, communicating effectively, and inspiring a team to navigate change.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and cross-functional leadership.
- Salary Range: $180k to $210k
