Role Overview: This part-time position involves teaching, coaching, and monitoring activities of daily living (ADL) and recovery skills, facilitating community-based activities, and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Educate clients on ADL, psychoeducation, and stress management; coordinate community resources; provide transportation and personal care; administer First Aid/CPR; supervise medication; communicate care information; support discharge planning and staff training; document services while maintaining confidentiality; and participate in meetings and trainings.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; zero to one year of experience working with individuals with mental health, substance abuse, or disabilities; strong communication, patience, empathy, and teaching skills; good interpersonal skills; maturity and judgment.
Physical Requirements: Physical exertion involved, including lifting up to 100 pounds and frequent lifting of objects/clients; must be at least 18 years old.
